One of my hubby's friend shared with my hubby his way of helping his son learn his spelling for Malay, English and Arabic.
The way is to print the words in grey and repeat it a few times. The child is required to write over the 'greyed-out' words a few times. This will help improve the writing as well as impress upon the child the spelling of the words.
